Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how JNU Infosoft collects, uses, shares, and protects information in relation to the mobile application AGE Mate ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

1. Information you provide

When you contact us, create an account, or otherwise interact with features that require input, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, and any content you choose to submit.

2. Automatically collected information

We (and our third-party service providers) may automatically collect information when you use the App, including:

Device information (model, OS version, device identifiers)
App usage data and analytics (screens visited, events, session length)
Crash and performance data
IP address and approximate location inferred from IP

How We Use Information

To provide, maintain and improve the App and its features.
To deliver personalized and non-personalized advertising (see AdMob section below).
To analyze usage and trends and to monitor and fix bugs and security issues.
To communicate with you about updates, support, and promotional messages (if you opt in).

AdMob & Advertising

AGE Mate uses Google AdMob ("AdMob") to display ads and to help monetize the App. AdMob is provided by Google LLC, and its usage is governed by Google's policies and terms.

Data collected for ads

When AdMob serves ads in the App, Google and its partners may collect or process the following information:

Advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID)
Device and app identifiers
IP address and general location (city level)
App crash and performance data
Interaction with ads (clicks, impressions)

Personalized vs Non-personalized ads

AdMob may show personalized ads based on information it has about your interests. You may also be shown non-personalized ads that don’t use your interests for targeting. Depending on your device settings and consent, AdMob may use the Advertising ID to provide personalized advertising.

Why this matters

We do not directly control all data collection performed by AdMob. Google acts as a separate data controller for its ad services and processes some data independently. Please review Google's privacy resources for details on how Google collects and uses data for advertising and how you can manage ad settings on your device.

Note: If you need to disable personalized ads on your device you can opt out via your device settings (for example, Reset or Limit Advertising ID on Android) or by managing Google Ads settings in your Google account.

Third-Party Services and Links

The App may use third-party services (for analytics, crash reporting, advertising, etc.). These third parties have their own privacy policies and may process data independently. Examples include Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and crash reporting services.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

Google Play Services & Android Permissions

The App may request permissions necessary for features or for third-party SDKs (ads, analytics). You can manage permissions in your device settings. Some permissions may be required for certain functionality and disabling them may affect the App.

Legal Basis (for users in the EEA)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on one or more of the following bases to process your personal data: consent (where requested), performance of a contract, legitimate interests (for analytics, app security, and ad-serving), or compliance with legal obligations.

Children

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have collected personal information from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that data.

Data Retention and Security

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes (for example, troubleshooting, analytics, or legal compliance). We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

How to Opt-Out of Interest-Based Ads

On Android devices: Open Settings → Google → Ads → toggle on Opt out of Ads Personalization (or reset your Advertising ID).
You can also manage ad settings in your Google account under Data & personalization.
