This Privacy Policy and Disclaimer applies to the Always5G / NR Only mobile application ("the App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to complete transparency. The App functions solely as a direct shortcut to your device’s native, built-in system radio settings.

1. Information Collection and Use

Zero Personal Data Collection: The App does not collect, record, transmit, store, or monitor any personal information, location details, device identifiers, or usage logs.
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any contact information to use the App.
No Background Tracking: The App runs only when opened and performs no background monitoring or telemetry operations.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertising

No Advertisements: The App contains no third-party ad networks, tracking SDKs, or banner/interstitial advertisements.
No Analytics or Trackers: We do not integrate external diagnostic, crash-reporting, or analytical toolkits (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or third-party trackers).

3. Permissions

The App requests only the bare minimum system intents necessary to function. It does not request invasive permissions such as Contacts, Camera, Microphone, SMS, Internal Storage, or Precise GPS Location.

4. Disclaimer and Technical Limitations

Please read the following technical notices carefully before utilizing the App:

Shortcut Functionality: The App acts exclusively as an interface launcher to invoke the Android system’s built-in Radio Info / Phone Info testing activity (*#*#4636#*#*). It does not modify internal firmware or create proprietary network drivers.
Manufacturer Restrictions: Access to the hidden radio configuration menu is governed entirely by your device manufacturer (OEM) and carrier firmware. Certain manufacturers or carrier-locked models deliberately block external access to this menu. If blocked by the system, the App cannot bypass these hardware or software restrictions.
Voice Calling (VoNR / VoLTE): Switching your network mode strictly to "NR only" forces your device to refuse any non-5G connection. If your mobile service provider does not offer active, certified Voice over New Radio (VoNR) support in your area, your phone will be unable to place or receive standard voice calls or SMS messages while locked in NR only mode.
Caution: Ensure your carrier supports Voice over NR (VoNR) before selecting strict "NR Only" mode, otherwise voice calls may fail.
Emergency Calling: In areas with poor or absent Standalone (SA) 5G coverage, locking the radio to "NR only" may affect emergency call routing if fallback to LTE/3G is prevented. We strongly advise using hybrid modes (such as "NR/LTE") if your carrier lacks end-to-end VoNR deployment.
Coverage & Hardware: Selecting a 5G network mode will not provide 5G speeds or signal if your hardware lacks compatible 5G bands, if your carrier has not provisioned 5G access for your SIM, or if you are outside carrier coverage areas.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If any operational aspects of the App are updated in future releases, this policy will be revised accordingly. Any updates will become effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on this page.
